GTCR Officiating & Consulting was founded by Omar Brooks to bring dependable, professional basketball officiating to leagues and events — and to develop the officials, coaches, and athletes who make the game better.

GTCR grew out of years spent between the lines — learning that the difference between a good game and a bad one often comes down to the officials’ preparation, positioning, and poise.
Today we do two things at once: we supply leagues and tournaments with officials they can count on, and we train the next generation of refs while consulting for coaches, programs, and athletes who want to understand the game at a higher level.
